Top 10 ways to get the most from the Southwest Regional Training Summit

November 5, 2015

1. Come with questions, a lot of questions - Get the answers

Every facet of Hollander is represented at our Summits, so if you have a Hollander-related question, this is where the answers will be. Sessions address users of all levels, from someone new to the Powerlink home screen to those that run the entire operation. Ask anything from account management, to support-related to what’s coming up the pipeline in the coming months – you will have the answers by the end of the day to all your questions and more.

2. Meet the Hollander crew

Put faces to the names and voices you’ve spoken to over the phone and corresponded with via email – it will provide for more efficient future interactions, and may help you find the right person faster the next time you have a question at your yard!

3. Get acquainted with Hollander Partners

CBCDashboard and Buddy Automotive Innovations will both be at the Summit (Robert Counts of Dashboards will be presenting in the Reporting track).Their solutions work in combination with Hollander solutions to make your yard more efficient, so take time out and get to know them and their products!

4. Bring your data

The way to get the most from the Summit is by knowing how each session can help and relate to your business, so the more you know about your operation coming in, the more you can come out with!

5. Plan your schedule

Maximize your time at the Summit by knowing which sessions you want to attend ahead of time. The full agenda and session descriptions are available now, allowing for ample time to plan out your day

6. Bring a colleague

It’s no coincidence that registering more than one person is substantially cheaper. We encourage you to bring more than one system user so all sessions you’d like attended can have someone from your business in it.

7. Filling out a survey means you won’t go home empty-handed

We want to hear what you thought of your Summit experience – how can we improve? What should we add? Should we extend time on a certain topic? – and we’ll reward you for your thoughts! Every survey that gets returned gets a parting gift.

8. Come hungry!

Your registration fee covers two meals as well as drinks and appetizers after the show. Breakfast opens with registration at 8:30!

9. Stick around

Make sure any lingering questions get answered and spend some time chatting with Hollander employees or some fellow recyclers with complimentary drinks and appetizers.

10. Familiarize yourself with eBay

The world's largest online marketplace for auto parts and accessories is here to stay. Hollander's exclusive relationship with eBay and best-in-class tool eLink™ give you the best opportunity to be successful selling your parts online. The Training Summit will give you opportunity to talk to the experts on selling online, including a representative from eBay Motors, who will be available in the Technology Test Drive Center.
