Building the Best Business Page on Facebook

Today, having a personal Facebook page is like having a phone number. A necessity. In fact, Facebook has over 1 billion active users and accumulates  an estimated 2.7 billion likes every day. In short, Facebook has become an essential place for businesses in every industry. For auto recyclers, having a great business page is the first line of communication for deals, store updates, new products, to the yard's online fans. Fans of a  page can ask questions directly, like photos, or check page for information before heading to a recycling yard. If your yard does not yet have a website, a Facebook page is an easy way to start building an online presence.

Ready to get started? Follow the steps below to create a Facebook page optimized for recyclers.

1. Choose a great cover photo and profile picture for your page.

2. Write a detailed About page.

3. Decide what content will be useful to your customer base.

Photo content is always going to be the best for Facebook. If your customer base likes to see what your team is up to behind the scenes, photos of a team member working on a car or new cars in the yard all make for excellent content.
