SAN DIEGO, CA, October 31, 2007 – Audatex, a Solera company and leading global provider of automobile insurance claims processing solutions, today announced that software engineer Sanjay Jain received a 2007 Outstanding Dedication award from the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA). The award, which is given to CIECA volunteers who exhibit exceptional leadership, contribution and dedication, was presented at Tuesday’s Collision Industry Awards Luncheon—part of this week’s International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) in Las Vegas, NV.
“CIECA is pleased to honor Sanjay with this prestigious award,” said Fred Iantorno, CIECA’s Executive Director. “His continued support of our organization, and the tremendous work he has done within our Architecture Committee, truly distinguish him as an outstanding 2007 contributor. His hard work is recognized not only by CIECA executives, but also by his peers, who nominated him for this special distinction.”
CIECA—comprised of repairers, insurers, parts and materials suppliers, information and software providers and other related automotive groups—is responsible for developing objective, unbiased and uniform electronic commerce standards for the collision industry. Its Architecture Committee oversees the technical aspects of creating these standards. As a member of this Committee, Jain has been responsible for maintaining the XML schemas needed to standardize business-to-business data exchange.
